Easy way to clean blinds

I have several dirty and greasy blinds in my home .I consult with my friend about this problem .She suggested me best ways of cleaning Blinds ,here is some tips I want to share with you. Take blinds outside and drape them over a cloths line, spray them all with the solution of ammonia and water ,rinse and then turn them over and repeat the process for the other side , you can also give them a bath ,put very warm water in the bath tub ,with degreaser or pine oil and laundry soap , put blinds in and soak for ½ hours moving them around to get the solution soaked between the blinds ,Let the water out and rinse well ,and then take them out side and hang them for dry, its work well
You should add little caution while washing, if you have plastic or vinyl blinds test them for lead content prior to cleaning, lead testing kits can be easily available in hardware store, if the blind contain lead they must be disposed.
